Proposed/Seconded by Cllrs P Owen/Squire Minutes of the F&GP meeting held 5th February 2009 were accepted by the Council. Proposed/seconded Cllr Hall/Squire Minutes of the Planning Committee of 17th February were accepted by the Council. It was noted that there were objections to the development of 14 Kimberley Road for various reasons. Also reservations over car parking on the new Kwik Save plans (although accepted). Matters Arising None Parishioners Questions and Police Report Standing orders suspended. Proposed/seconded Cllrs P Owen/Hall. No report had been received from the Police. Standing orders re-instated Cllrs P Owen/Squire Old Nottingham Road parking PC Maltby had assured Cllr P Owen that he would be ticketing offending vehicles shortly. Cllr Owen has also told County Council about the bus turning problems and they are planning to put in enforceable markings for the bus stop. The Clerk is to write to Jungletastic copying in the Police about the continued complaints of the residents and ask for a formal reply. Football issues It was agreed to promote and allocate Temple Centre pitches in the same manner as Basil Russell for season 2009/10 Boatshed Rental The Clerk reported that there had been confirmation that this was to continue with the current lessee. Health & Safety. The Clerk asked Councillors to consider their willingness to serve on a new subcommittee. Deferred to F&GP for consideration. Payments List. February 2009 payments list was approved with the addition of the rental to PHS which the Clerk had queried with them seeking clarification of the location of the units concerned. Proposed/seconded Cllrs P Owen/Hall. Clerks Report The Clerk reported that there had been an approach for 2009 season onwards by Kimberley Institute Cricket Club. Whilst it was agreed to put into F&GP agenda the Councillors agreed informally that they would welcome the new team and that the Clerk should advise Nuthall CC of the dates that had been booked. Security had been upgraded to secure park gates and Temple Centre (cost no more than 200). Correspondence A list was give to all Councillors of non-distributed correspondence. Erewash Community Transport Stats. Broxtowe had received the accounts from ECT direct and so the Clerk will write to confirm the Councils commitment to the bus service for Apr 2009 to Mar 2010. Kimberley have discussed the possibility of giving a contribution but no feedback from the meeting has been received. Precept 2009/10. It was agreed to levy a 9.9% increase in the precept.
