Named after the Nuthall Temple, an extravagant residence of the local squires for many generations which was sadly demolished in the 1930’s the Temple Centre is the community hub of Nuthall with organised activities most days and a sports field for more active members to enjoy.
With a variety of rooms for hire we can cater for all occasions from small meeting rooms, professional function facilities and a foam underlayed sports hall. Full disabled and baby changing facilities, a kitchen facility that is just like home and plenty of car parking are just some of the benefits we have to offer.
The first floor meeting room is a fully contained space that is ideal for meetings or as a training venue/club room. It now comprises of a main meeting room with tea and coffee facilities, a breakout office and toilet suite. These three rooms are available for an hourly rate on an ad-hoc or regular booking basis.
Situated close to the M1 junction 26, on the rainbow 1 bus route and just a short walk from the tram, The Temple Centre has plenty of car parking and other rooms available, meaning it may be the ideal venue for your needs - be that for your training session, as a meeting venue, or just a nice place to meet for your club.

LARGE MEETING ROOM
For meeting and events
Holds up to 100 with or without tables.
Midweek £21 per hour (minimum 1 hr)
Weekend £24 per hour (minimum 4 hrs)
SPORTS HALL & FIELD
Perfect for fitness classes
Our Sports Hall would suit a variety of fitness classes. Unfortunately due to the roof height this room is not suitable for any racquet or ball sports.
Our large sports field is available to hire.
Sports Hall £17.50 p/h (minimum 1 hour)
Sports Field £15 p/h (minimum 1 hour)
FIRST FLOOR TRAINING ROOMS
On the first floor and not suitable for those with walking disability. Holds up to 40 people with tea facilities en-suite. This room also includes a large TV to enable connectivity to a laptop for presentations.
Large Room £20 per hour
Small Room £15 per hour

We are not accepting party bookings at the moment but we can host small parties at Basil Russell Park on Maple Drive from £22.22 per hour. Please call 0115 7847689 for details
Special Rates
- Regular Hirers will be expected to self-caretake after an initial period, otherwise an attendance fee of £5 per visit will apply. A 10% discount will be applied to the normal rates to regular hirer's when undertaking to attend 38 weeks per year and pay via bank transfer within 7 days of invoice.
